Dharampalagro - Herbal Tea

Herbal tea is a flavorful, generally caffeine-free drink made by steeping plant parts (leaves, flowers, roots, spices) in hot water, offering diverse tastes and potential wellness benefits, unlike true teas from the Camellia sinensis plant. Popular types include chamomile (calming), peppermint (digestive), ginger (soothing), and hibiscus (tart, vibrant), used for relaxation, detoxification, aiding sleep, or relieving cold symptoms, with options ranging from floral to spicy.

Spicy Tea

Spicy tea, or Masala Chai, primarily contains a blend of aromatic spices like cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper, brewed with black tea leaves, water, milk (optional), and a sweetener like jaggery or sugar, creating a warm, pungent, and invigorating drink. Other include star anise, fennel, mint, or tulsi (holy basil) for unique flavor.

Flower Tea

Varies by flower but generally includes beneficial compounds like antioxidants (flavonoids, polyphenols), vitamins (C, A), minerals, proteins, polysaccharides, saponins, and amino acids, offering benefits such as immune support, stress relief, improved digestion, and anti-inflammatory effects. Common flowers used are butterfly pea, hibiscus, chamomile, rose, and lavender, each bringing unique properties, from color to relaxation
